Announcements
Welcome Center Fundraiser August 15 from 8:30-6:30. We still need people to sign up, this is the busiest day of the week for the center so we will need ample items to sell. Only three people are signed up to volunteer so far. Contributions welcomed to Gregg or Rhonda
Rhonda read and email to the Club from Tom French. resigning as an active member due to health challenges and honoring his granddaughters Olympic sports achievements. .
Frank reminded people about the Groundworks August 13th meal that is coming up.
Rob shared that he is in the process of organizing a painting project at the senior center, details to follow.

David Neumister (past member of this club) reflected on projects he’s had the pleasure to participate in. He shared that he and his wife just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.
Roger A complimented Davids involvement with Windham Aging .
Rick M. hired a car detailer, Flat Black Chuck, and is thrilled with the results.
Mike M. shared he has a new car detailing side hobby and thanked Rick for his contribution. He will be donating the money raised to a charity of the car owners choosing. Rick chose Brattleboro on Wheels!
Mara shared that she had been on a beautiful vacation and ran into Linda Bedard who sends her love back to Rotary. Mara was proud that her husband saved all of the returnables from vacation for Rotary. Lastly she reflected on the beauty of Vermont.
Rob has returned from a vacation with his wife to Japan appreciating the culture and hiking Mt Fujgi.
Cheriri Anne thanks Jim for stepping in and finding a speaker.
David Neumister (Guest) Bragged for Greg W. in re; scholarships.
George K shared anther traveling reflection about exposure to other cultures and what it brings to home.
Carla thanked Rotary for her experience in Japan.
Roger added he had fond memory of working with a Japanese company.
President Chris shared that her son and family returned from a RV trip out west and they had a great time.
