PROGRAM
Lise Sparrow, pastor of Guilford Congregational Church, spoke to the club about a “Declaration of Inclusion” that her church has endorsed. The document is intended to raise consciousness of the diversity that exists in Vermont, and the benefits of that diversity. A state-wide movement is coordinating efforts to have every town and city in Vermont, as well as various organizations, approve a “Declaration of Inclusion” in their own words. Lise expressed a hope that our club would adopt a similar resolution (the wording can be changed to suit each particular organization’s goals and wishes.) The club’s Board of Directors will consider this request. The meeting ended at 12:48 pm
