President Carl Lynde welcomed all to the July 30th meeting of the Brattleboro Rotary Club held via ZOOM. <ED NOTE: 35 Rotarians attended.> Tom French offered the following motivational statements from Mother Theresa:

“The fruit of silence is prayer, the fruit of prayer is faith, the fruit of faith is love, the fruit of love is service, and the fruit of service is peace.”

For the joke of the week, Carl Lynde told the following:
 
When the Rotary meeting broke, John confided to a friend. “Mike, I’m in a terrible pickle! I’m strapped for cash and I haven’t the slightest idea where I’m going to get it from!” “I’m glad to hear that,” answered Mike, “I was afraid you might have an idea you could borrow it from me!”
