President Greg Worden welcomed all to the January 7th meeting of the Brattleboro Rotary Club held at the American Legion in Brattleboro. Steve Gordon offered a meaningful invocation. This was followed by the pledge of allegiance.
As a luncheon of American-Chinese food and house-made brownies for dessert was being digested, the meeting continued.

For our Rotary joke, Gary Goodemote told a story about how, as a youngster, an attempted prank backfired and he ended up with vacuum dust in his month. He learned that success was 10% inspiration and 90% aspiration.
ROTARY MINUTE
For the Rotary minute, Cheryl Ann Brodhurst urged us to rededicate ourselves to the spirit and light of Rotary.
At our January 14th meeting, Steve Gordon will tell a joke or lead us in song, while Robin Sweetapple delivers a Rotary Minute.
