PROGRAM
Mike Roj on the Windham County Sheriff’s Department “Enhanced Driving Safety Programs.” After giving an overview of the Teen Driving Program, he cited how effective it is in keeping teens safe during the critical two years of novice driving. The department also runs an adult program for new drivers, largely women who recently immigrated here from other countries. Many have never been in a car let alone allowed to drive in their home countries.
