ROTARY MINUTE

For the Rotary Minute, Marty Cohn told the story how one Rotarian can have an idea that becomes bigger than first imagined Ted Rossi, an East Hampton, Connecticut Rotarian saw that Connecticut was not able to deliver face masks to smaller community organizations and nursing homes. His idea… Rotary can facilitate the supply of masks and distribute in small lots within their communities. With the help of his family foundation, one million PPE masks were distributed across six New England states between October 5th and 7th. A truck filled with 800,000 masks made stops in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. (An additional 200,000 masks were distributed across Connecticut in the spring, making the total one million.) In Vermont, 140,000 masks were distributed by 22 clubs. One Rotarian. One Idea. Rotary in Action.
