Past President Rob opened the meeting at the meeting site: Holiday Inn Express of  Brattleboro, VT. Mark welcomed all to the September 17 2026 meeting of the Brattleboro Rotary Club, www.brattlebororotaryclub.org

Invocation:

Theresa Glabach gave a thoughtful invocation.

Rob led the club with the Pledge of Allegiance

Carla led the club with the Rotary motto and Four Way Test.

Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Reminders and sign up passed around for UpComing Disc Golf and Brattleboro on Wheels.
And meeting for the Gateway Foundation 9/24/26.
 
Mike Mandracchia announced the Brattleboro on Wheels could use a few more volunteers.
Rob Spzila gave an update on the upcoming Disc Golf tournament coming up on Oct 3-4.  He thanked the sponsors who have already committed and let the club know there is still an opportunity to sponsor.

Brags offered by Rob. Carla made an announcement of an event at SIT Monday the 28th at 4pm also brag for her Daughter and soccer performance. Theresa brag for her baby’s first step!

  • Please bring your bottles and cans to the Putney Road redemption center to benefit APPN.  Pure Water for the World is no longer operating in the USA; it continues in Honduras as APPN.
    Maria Inestroza, the PWW country director for Honduras is continuing the work in that country under the name APPM, acronym for Agua Pura para El Mundo, or Pure Water for the World in Spanish Pure Water for the World. Please remember to inform the staff that the bottles and cans should be credited to the club.
