President Jeff Hagstrom welcomed all to the September 22nd meeting of the Brattleboro Rotary Club held at the American Legion in Brattleboro; the first fall meeting of the club. He noted that there are only 26 weeks until spring. Nick Keizeroffered a meaningful invocation in which he read the lyrics to John Anderson’s song, 30,000 feet. This was followed by the pledge of allegiance.Birthday greetings were extended to: Betsy Gentile, Cheri Ann Brodhurst, Marty Cohn, and Joy Everett.
As a luncheon of chicken, roast pork, tempe, salad, mixed veggies, and banana cream cake for dessert was being digested, the meeting continued.
