President Jeff Hagstrom welcomed all to the October 13th meeting of the Brattleboro Rotary Club, road show held at the Bruce Campbell Memorial Sun Deck (Living Memorial Park). Mike Mandracchiaoffered a meaningful in which he quoted Henry Ford. This was followed by the pledge of allegiance.
As a luncheon supplied by Entera Catering of sandwiches, chips, apples, and cookies for dessert was being digested, the meeting continued.
Guests: Visiting Rotarian Josh Traeger (Sunrise), Nancy Burgess, and a student Rotarian.

The first known instance of anyone playing golf with a flying disc occurred in Bladworth, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1926. Ronald Gibson and a group of his Bladworth Elementary School buddies played a game throwing tin plates at targets such as trees and fence posts.
